Went to the doc yesterday. Been having some heavy bleeding these past two times I had my cycle.

I have some swelling in my left side. I could feel something as she examined me. Having an ultrasound next week and then a biopsy after that to check for endometeriosis. Had a blood test to screen for the onset menopause.

I like my doctor very much. Very respectful of the fears I expressed. She said we needed to move slowly with this since I am clearly upset.

I don't want to have a hysterectomy. My mother had to have one at my age b/c she was hemorrhaging. I wanted to go to the hospital, but afraid of having a hysterectomy, very afraid.

I cried.

I scared.

I had pizza for supper.

I go for my ultra sound today and then I go back to my doctor. She told me to be prepared to have a biopsy.

I spent the weekend away, which did me some good, just got back yesterday.

I think I am going to have my hair done this morning. I actually called yesterday for an appointment.

I am glad to be back.
