Default Should I Go To The Hospital?

Over the past few weeks or so, I have been having smokers cough in the mornings. I would get that from time to time, usually an episode will last for a couple of days and then I am good for a few more months.

Yesterday, my smokers cough came back in the late afternoon, and it hasnt gone away yet today. I have been up and at it now for 6.5 hours. Usually this thing dies down within the first hour.

I talk for a living so every word I speak has become painful. There is a heaviness in my chest. I know I have asthma. I have been hitting my inhaler and taking cough drops.

But if this thing doesnt clear up by the time I leave work, I am thinking of going to the local er.

But even with insurance, that stuff is expensive.

I dont know what to do.

Well I did or should I say, do have a sinus/chest infection. I went to the hospital that night and they did a chest xray. Everything came back fine that way.

I went on an antibiotic and some cough meds. Both of those are now gone. I have since missed 3 days of work, and have had 2 occurences as a result. so my work is in some jeopardy because of this. I am still sick, and I think I may go to a clinic after work today.

Sorry your not feeling well 4PS. Take it easy and google those awful home remedies too (don't dance over a bonfire at the full moon though - it doesn't work ok?)

Constant development is the law of life, and a man who always tries to maintain his dogmas in order to appear consistent drives himself into a false position.
