Default not unhealthy but not happy

Ok so I'm well 20 and I weigh almost 200 pounds. I am upset because well that is concidered obese. I find it hard to exercise because when I do my knees start acting up or my gallbladder starts hurting intesnely. I need to have the gallbladder out but that can't happen right now. I don't like being like this but I don't know what to do. I feel well disgusting. This may not be the right place to say this but I really am not happy being like this. I'm trying to lose weight I just idk.

Hey punkchiclet, glad you posted about this!

I'm not sure of the methods you've tried to loose weight, but have you tried swimming at all? That is both good for your muscles with the resistance of pushing through the water and also your bones and joins because there is no gravity in the water :)

Running is the best way I've found. It made me lose weight and I didn't even want to!

If you find exercising difficult, perhaps a low fat diet (which will only help your gallbladder, as the gallbladder is designed to break down fats and that's when it gets all squeezy and if it has stones or is infected, very painful) plus some gentle exercise, like swimming or walking, would be beneficial to you? Start out small (half a mile or fifteen minutes) and keep it that way for two weeks, and then work your way up by adding an additional unit (a mile or thirty minutes) every couple of weeks?

Punkchiklet88 I think you should try and do some stuff, like not running cause of your knee as you said it starts to hurt, but maybe walk, like walk around the house, or block, or what ever you live in. Like walk more and more everyday. Start awhile, and as each day goes on, do more. but that is just what I think. Hope my thoughts help you out Punk (is it okay if I call you that?)

If you walk around th complex starting at once a day, then moving to two times a day, like walk once around the complex one time more for each week, like every week do it once more. And if you can't get out do to rain, or wind, or what ever, walk in place while watching TV, or in the brakes. Just some thoughts I had for you Punk. Hope they help you.

The walking in place while watching tv is a good one. I know it sounds silly, but it works. I used to jog in place watching DVDs and before I knew it 45 minutes had flown by.
