Exclamation First Job in a Long Time

I have never had a job since my last one in 2011, which I ended up quitting due to an injury on the job. Since then, I've applied and gone to interviews over the years, never landing the job. So I continued to do my freelance writing/photography instead not making much money. Then I continued to apply to places and receive interviews still same deal occurred. Then I applied to more places recently, got an interview and things changed. I was offered and job and took it, and I am currently going through the process of it all. But I can feel my anxiety and depression creeping back in. Not sure if I can go through with it after all. :/

I'm really sorry to hear that. I think everyone deal with some anxiety but depression is a monster.

UPDATED! Been working for a little over a month, and while I have had an array of days off and my hours shortened due to that, work in the real world is ok. I prefer staying home still though haha.

Congratulations and keep up the good work! I know. It sucks getring up everyday to go to work, but it is better than sitting at home all the time.

If you have alot of free time, like when you were unemployed, then you spend to much time in your own mind. That aint good when you are depressed.

So good on you, keep it up. 🙂
