You could try software tester to start with. It is a quick program (8 weeks) and pays well. The program is in SF in portnov school. May be you can find alternative in your region.

It reminded me of days when success for me was to eat food and not have pain, to be able to walk and not have pain...I remember the day when I drunk a can of cola and didn't have any pain, I took a deep breath and thought to myself "oh finally, a success".

I should remind myself more often of those days to see how far I've come in MY journey, not comparing to other people...
