Default boss said I quit when I was really fired

I filed for unemployment the night that I was fired. Three weeks later I get a letter from DWD that says the employer said I left without good cause so I'm eligible for absolutely shit. I've already appealed but I'm just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Oh man, that stinks. I've not had something like that happen to me. I hope things work out for you.

It's happened to me. sometimes employers challenge ur unemployment b/c they don't want to pay, but 9 times out of 10, they don't succeed. Unemployment office gets these guys all the time. they have to prove that you left, otherwise it goes nowhere, u still get ur unemployment. They challeneged mine for months, but I showed up for the appeal and buried them. You're not the first u can be sure. Make sure whatever u wrote on ur initial claim clearly stated u were fired.

My boss let me go because the restaurant i worked in was not busy enough, she said it might pick up in the following months, as in they might want me back. That stupid bitch only said that to make things sound nicer. She doesn't actually want me back there. So I could of been looking for a job 3 months ago if i didn't get my hopes up. Why can't people just be to the point.

Fucking place was broken into 2 weeks ago

It's a good thing it was just a part time job. If it was full time and the fuckers did this to me they'd be at the bottom of a swamp by now.
