I've been attempting to do a few arts and crafts and try to sell them, if I can. I can make dream catchers, native american style flutes, and have been learning how to knit, but if I had a garage I could do so much more, but meh, I am at the mercy of our screwy weather here in the midwest.
Since I finally found a decent gourd to grow, corsican, I can use these for many different small crafty things. Granted, they're not thick enough to do much with, but they're just fine for smaller things. My first task is attempting to make a dream catcher out of a small one for my niece. I'll use sinew for the web, and of course it will be arranged with the number that is special to me, 7. I have several turkey feathers that I'll have hanging from below it, and have been working on making some beads from a tree that my father raised. My eldest niece is really excited about that since she is old enough to remember her grandfather before his mind got too bad.
Anyway, I just hope it pans out, but I am really getting close to having some serious tooth pains, which if I can't get even this one blanket I'll be working on sold, I'll be in a creek without a paddle fast. O_o. Erf! But that's even turning out to be difficult. I went to buy the yarn and my wife started putting me down for it. So of course I caved. Will have to go and buy it without her. Pshew!
