mid-" (I refuse from this point forward say big woman). I lost my virginity to a bigger woman" You gave me a lol, thanks I did need that today. It's hard when you're curvalicious, is what I call myself, I don't care anymore! I truly don't! I know that under all of this skin, is a wonderful person & if you want to judge me for being that way, your loss!

Blessings!

It's hard to care when it feels as if everyone is staring at you and only sees a tub of fat.

Aries, It's not my loss! I refuse to see people for thier size or their weight! I see people for what they are. I see the same thing with color. Maybe, I am one of the last hippies with the internet! I don't know I care for people for who they are not what they are on the outside! Tell me if I'm wrong!!!

I am talking about who you are!!! That's all that matters. If you are a great person that is all that matters. If your size is all that matters, then the guy (or gal) doesn't matter. All that matters is the person that you are. For the people that can't see you for what you are then they are unimportant. They don't matter. The only person that matters is the person that loves you for you are. Your size shouldn't matter. A Man (or any sex) shouldn't matter just who loves when your are down and out.

Ok, Mid...I have read your posts, and you are right....people should look on the inside and appreciate individuals for who they are. Unfortunately, that is just not the case. I am almost 30 years old, I'm cute, I am 5'2 and weigh 197 pounds. I can go out with my friends and be the life of the party, but I'M the one who goes home alone. I live in the south where fried food is a food group amongst itself. Everywhere you turn, fried chicken, fried green tomatoes, chicken fried steak, fried shrimp..you get the picture. Both women and men eat it up..unfortunately, the women who are a bit husky on the outside..don't get much play from the men...even if THEY are on the husky side. I think its more accepted when men are the ones overweight. I haven't had a steady relationship in a LONG time. I have been told to my face and behind my back that its my weight. Most men don't want to be seen with a fat chick. Plain and simple. The days where big women were considered sexy and fertile are over...along with the powdered wigs, corsets, peticoats and dresses that weigh 40 pounds.

I guess all I have to say is that I must live in a different era. But I have always been out of step when it comes to things like time, everything else, etc...

I do not think her being 150 lbs and 5 8 is big... that is what is so sad... if you look at the wt charts if she is big boned that is about average. Maybe a bit overwt, but not Big, Fat etc...

They are pushig us to be a size 2.....

As they said in the Devil Loves Prada,, size 2 is now size o.. and size 4 is ... fat I think he said or lane bryant or something really awful.

we are creating a generation of young women with eating disorders, b it over eating , not eating , eating and vomiting, excercise bulimic etc...

People are starving in Africa, India etc... and we are so wt concerned....
This is so sad
