Default Do you remember your dreams?

I was lurking around and found this post by user 'tammy 2' in thread:

https://www.takethislife.com/dreams/lack-dreams-48573/

"Poor dream recall is a symptom of pyroluria, a genetic defect that causes anxiety and depression. I never could remember my dreams, I did not even dream in colour and as far as my Dr is concerned, I am not fully cured until I dream every night and can recall them. I do have other reasons for anxiety and depression ,but the pyroluria was mild and easily rectified. "

This HIT me hard!

So then i google pyroluria and came up with very interesting links!

Pyroluria - A Hidden Disorder

Do You Have Pyroluria? | Primal Body Primal Mind Diet and Nutrition

Possibly everyone that is depressed has this?

I personally can recall only 3 dreams in my life.

I must have whatever is the exact opposite. My dreams/nightmares are often and not just vivid but emotionally and physically draining. I go thru bouts where I am dying or something/someone is trying to kill me. I might die or be chased several times in a single night.

I wake up very anxious and so terrified sometimes I can't move for a while.

The few times I have good dreams, they are just as vivid though.

It's been years since anyone really touched me and when I have those dreams ...it feels really nice. I even had one a while ago where I looked into someone's eyes and felt love. It was wonderful, because I was not sure I was capable of feeling that any longer.

The strangest dreams are when I dream them and then see them somewhere in real life. Sometimes it actually scares me more than the nightmares.

My dreams are way more memorable since my life changed and I have been
depressed. They have been so vivid the last few months that I wake up
almost every single night. I think it might depend why you are depressed
in how they affect you. My dreams are of someone that is no longer here.
I talk to them every night in my dreams but at some point my mind tells
me in my sleep that it isn't real and I wake up almost in a heart attack mode
often in tears. This repeats over and over like a never ending cycle. It is
like a torture for me. I have always remembered my dreams but they
never really affected me until now. My subconscious is holding on and won't
let go. Even though I have tried to let go a part of me can't. I haven't slept
more than four hours in a night since October. I feel it is slowly killing me.

I find that my dreams are also of the intrusive and well remembered sort. I sleep lightly and often wake with or from my dreams. I've got dreams in such vivid reality seeming quality that it can become hard to discern if I drempt it or lived it sometimes, which causes confusion.

I don't always remember it, but usually I remember my dreams. I like when I dream. It's like I'm going into another world, very very wide beautiful scenery, sometimes it is wide beautiful green field, sometimes I went up to the sky, sometimes I went into a very big castle.

Two nights ago, I dreamt somebody told me how or/and where to die. "It's better to die here or here", with his finger pointed me to a place.

I'm waiting for my day, almost everyday.

i chose periodically. i believe i dream less than before the depression. i have always loved dreaming. i notice that the times i dream more are the times i am feeling better in my depression. i don't know if it has to do with resting/sleeping better or not. i miss dreaming all the time.
