It was my medical doctor. Psychiatrist actually.

I am just not used to speaking about all of this at once, I felt I should after having several mid level breakdowns throughout the past few days.

I got out of that relationship a long time ago, it was my first.

Well, don't feel like I'm pressuring you. You don't have to say anything you don't want to, of course. I'm just here to chat with you, and we can stop if you want. But I am interested in where you are right now, and your story. It sounds like you've been having a really hard time.... it must be hard keeping all that inside.

If I may venture another question.... what has happened recently that is different than before? Can you think of something which may have triggered the breakdowns you mentioned? You already know this I am sure, but having a massive dip in functionality like that is not normal. I think you are right when you say it is a good idea to talk about it. But you know what you're ready to say. Just say what you're comfortable with. I'm not going to judge you, but I'll do my best to listen and understand you.

I have seasonally triggered depression and have recently moved, I think a lot of stress as well as the change in light did it this time.

I totally understand that. The weather has turned very cold and dark here too, and it's taking a toll on me as well.

I always make sure to turn on every light in my apartment when I get home at night. It doesn't always make me feel better, but at least I can cause the lights to dim and go out at a later hour (like they should).

How far did you have to move? I wonder, did you have to leave some places (or maybe people) who made you feel comfortable, or helped you cope with your depression? That is always very hard to deal with. I think anyone in your shoes would be struggling with a big move like that, even without the added burden of depression.
