Glad to be helpful, Whatswrongwithme2. From reading the article, it sounds like they are calling for about 1,000mg of EPA in the oil. Not all fish oil has that much in it, so double check that you are taking about that level of the EPA specifically, if you can. I hope it is helping you!
Making changes in your life, especially so many dramatic changes all at one time like you are dealing with, is very difficult. It is okay to struggle when you face challenges like you have. That does not mean we desire to struggle, but sometimes it is part of the circumstances even in the best case scenario. I hope you come to a better place in your affairs and emotions soon.
Something I personally discovered years ago was that electrolytes were a critical part of my well being when I was struggling with depression at one point. You may be far more nutrient conscious then I was, but taking an electrolyte supplement made a big difference for how I felt emotionally then.
