Default Music to listen to when depressed? I can come up with a few

The problem with true depression and sucidial thoughts (ambitions?) is the tendency for other people to think you're "not serious" or "just going through a phase." Music, for me, provides a poor outlet for my genuine feelings, but short of killing myself or other people, it is unfortunetely the only legal thing within reason that helps to soothe my mind. The band members seem to be the only people that really listen to me without being patronizing or self-aggrandizing thinking that they are obligated to help me in some way. So, without further ado, here is a simple list, off the cuff, of music that enchances my feelings but at the same time calms my mind when I am feeling like 25 years on this planet, dealing with this humanity, has already been far too many:

Lamenting/Self-Pity:

Type O Negative
Sisters of Mercy
Katatonia
Theatre of Tragedy
Myriads
Life of Agony
Lake of Tears
Opeth
Epica
Evanescence (much to my shame)
Cold
Alice in Chains
Bauhaus
Gothica
Stream of Passion
White Skull

Pissed off:

Local H
Bad Religion
Godsmack
Stabbing Westward
Chevelle
Tool
Sevendust
Rage Against the Machine
Silverchair (Israel's Son is a great screaming song)

I don't know, there are probably a lot of bands that I forgot to list, but the above is a pretty accurate representation of the type of music that I like to listen to when I'm feeling depressed and suicidal for any given reason. But then again, you probably don't believe me, do you?
