Unhappy I need to cry! Any ideas?

I feel like everything is trapped inside me and I just cant seem to cry over anything. I feel so sad like 24/7

If anyone can send me a link on youtube that actually makes me cry, I would actually be amazed!

I know myself, it's the songs without words that really get me. Instead of feeling the emotions of the singer, you write the song yourself - with whatever emotion you're feeling at the time. So, here's some of my favorite instrumentals. I don't know if any will work for you (or if you'll like any of them), but you never know until you try.

"Empty Reflection" Sad Angry Piano Choir Beat - YouTube

"Guardian Angel" Deep Sad Choir Underground Beat - YouTube

"Never the Same" Deep Sad Underground Piano Beat [Klagen Collab] - YouTube

Watch Toy Story 3. If you don't cry at the end, I'll give you a bazillion dollars. (Okay maybe not - but I think it's a good challenge to not cry at the end of this one!)

:)

In all seriousness, do you really want to cry? I bet I could get myself to cry if I thought of if my Mom would die with sad piano music playing.

Thanks Pestilence! It is all my kind of music.
I love anything with a piano in it but as far as sad wise, I think I'm just numb lol.

Haha PrairerDawn! I did actually go and see that on the Cinema (with my mum again) LOL! We did actually both cry lol

I know you really want to cry, and need to, but you just can't force it unfortunately. It will just happen, maybe out of the blue. But sad movies do work for me sometimes, more than sad music does. I never watched Terms of Endearment because I knew I would need 20 boxes of tissues... I think it's about a young girl dying from cancer. It might be too close to home - but maybe that's what would work?

It could be the meds you are on. It isn't a funny feeling at all. When I took Citalopram, I just couldn't cry. I'd actually get the feeling of wanting to cry, but the tears would not come! It was not funny at all.
There's a book-Redeeming Love-that always makes me cry. I've read it at least 5times and I cried at least 5times. Unfortunately, I had lent it to a friend, who told me a couple of days ago that she's finally finished it and she cried lol. I wanted the book then, just to see if it could help me.
It's not only sad things that make me cry, sometimes it's something good, like a happy ending to a 'sad' story or just some good news...
I was at a hospital one day and I heard a woman in labour, when the baby came and I heard it, I couldn't stop crying...
Anyway, I had to stop taking Citalopram and a few days or a week after, I was torrential! I don't think crying has ever made me want to jump and laugh ever...

celery is right - meds make your emotions flatline.

I cry easily when I am tired. You can also try watching Steel Magnolias or Beaches.

Rent a movie called Ishtar: you'll cry over the 1 1/2 hours you will have lost forever and are never getting back!

What also makes me cry: Celine Dion had a niece who passed away from CF many years ago. A song was written called "Vole" (Fly) for her. Even if you don't understand a word of French, you can't help but feel the sadness and pain. If you do understand French, or can get your hands on a translation, and think of singing it to a recently deceased little girl, it just might work. Gets me every time!

Good luck!
