It could be the meds you are on. It isn't a funny feeling at all. When I took Citalopram, I just couldn't cry. I'd actually get the feeling of wanting to cry, but the tears would not come! It was not funny at all.
There's a book-Redeeming Love-that always makes me cry. I've read it at least 5times and I cried at least 5times. Unfortunately, I had lent it to a friend, who told me a couple of days ago that she's finally finished it and she cried lol. I wanted the book then, just to see if it could help me.
It's not only sad things that make me cry, sometimes it's something good, like a happy ending to a 'sad' story or just some good news...
I was at a hospital one day and I heard a woman in labour, when the baby came and I heard it, I couldn't stop crying...
Anyway, I had to stop taking Citalopram and a few days or a week after, I was torrential! I don't think crying has ever made me want to jump and laugh ever...
Courage doesn't always roar.
Sometimes courage is the quiet voice
at the end of the day saying,
"I will try again tomorrow."
