WTF is even "dressing metal"? The closest idea my brain cells can think of is a black tee with iron-on of an Iron Maiden CD cover.

And not all metal = dark & depressed. Enter Sandman isn't, neither is Two Minutes to Midnight.

You're right that metal has no national boundaries; it's not just UK or Scandinavia, but some of the best metal comes from Japan e.g. Maximum the Hormone
