When the Doctor finds he can't save Van Gogh - that made me cry too. The tragedy of it, despite the fact we know what happened but nothing can change history. It's like depression won. I secretly hoped things would have changed for him.

There is this one episode of West Wing, when one of the secret service agents, I think his name was simon, he has just started to have a relationship with CJ and he gets gunned down inside a convenience store. Then they show CJ learning about his death while walking through the streets of NYC and she breaks down crying, and there is no dialogue, all you hear is Rufus Wainwright singing "Hallelujah"
chokes me up

Buffy telling Spike she loves him - last ever episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer - just before he dies. They both know its not true but he thanks her for finally saying it
