I was super frugal for a long time, but during hypomanic phases, I just buy whatever I want and sometimes replace items that weren't broken because I found better versions. then I get " better" and slowly pay off the debt. also, on the depressed aspect, retail therapy sometimes comes into play.
When I'm frugal, I am so organized. I have everything written and I tally up every day's expenses. When I'm not so OK then I really don't care, I just guess if I have enough money to spend. so it goes back and forth I guess.
