(Misery should be spelled "mizery" because that's how it's pronounced.)
The idea is simple: a person with nothing who is sad. I forget why I drew him with four fingers per hand and the obscured face. Maybe it's because we like to pretend that the impoverished are not quite human, so we can rationalise our apathy toward them. I am also guilty of this apathy, and am not a charitable person.
I'm just posting this because the art gallery is too empty, and even a bad drawing can inspire thoughts.
