I don't think I've ever experienced a true anxiety attack, but I can feel very uneasy at times in social settings.

Anyway, very seldom when I'm really depressed and/or stressed, I get this weird feeling in my body. The best way I can describe it is it's like getting shocked by something. Its just this little jolt that I feel run through my body, and I only feel it for a split second and then its gone. Its usually not that bad, but can sometimes throw me off a little, even make be feel a bit disoriented for a moment.

Anyway, I was just out in pubic earlier tonight I felt like a huge loser while I saw everyone else out with friends, I was starting to freak out a little I swear I felt that "jolt" about 4 or 5 times in a row at one point. I think I've felt it a few more times over the course of the night. Whatever it is, its not a fun feeling.

Oh I know what you're talking about. I get those too, so does my mom-everyone does actually. It's some weird body thing like yawning except I don't know if they have a name for it or not.
It doesn't have anything to do with anxiety. In fact it's completely normal.
OH yea and I've had anxiety attacks before too, those are not fun. luckily I seemed to outgrow them somehow.
Anyways don't worry about it, there's nothing wrong with you, I dunno what those things are called but everyone gets them.

Strange. I've only noticed them when I'm freaking out about something. Wish I knew what they were.

It's just some jolt of nerves I think. But not related to depression anxiety or anything. I'd like to know what they're called too, maybe I'll research it and get back to you on it.

i get the jolt feeling and i think it's from hormones in your body rushing so fast you can literally feel them go from your brain to the rest of your body.

my panic attacks feel like heart attacks and i get that jolt over and over again.

I've been getting those lately when i'm anxious. It's like a heart sinking feeling that lasts for only a second. It is not pleasant, and only stresses me out more.

a heart stimulated by too much alcohol =, nicotine, caffeine irritated by indigestion OR SIMPLY UNDER NERVOUS TENSION may miss beats.

THE BEATS ARE NOT REALLY MISSED ALTHO THEY FEEL LIKE IT they are
spaced irregularly and are called EXTRASYSTOLES.

once again the timing of a beat is at fault

THE HEART COMPENSATES FOR AN UNUSUALLY QUICK BEAT BY TAKING A RESTFUL PAUSE, SO THAT THE TWO UNEVENLY SPACED BEATS TAKE THE SAME TIME AS TWO EVEN BEATS.

the long pause gives the sensatio of the heart stopping or missing a beat. IT DOESNT.

missed beats are not dangerous - in the sensitised person the forceful beat after the long pause may bring an unpleasant feeling rather like a suddendescent in a lift and this can be very disconcerting. IF THERE IS A

LONG RUN OF THE EXTRASYSTOLES AND ESPECIALLY IF THE ATTACKS OCCUR FREUENTLY THE SUFFERER MAY STAND STILL THINKING HIS HEART MAY BE ABOUT TO STOP.

the heart will not stop because of the missed beats

EXERCISE ABOLISHES THE NERVOUS EXTRASYSTOLES SO DO NOT LET THEM INTIMIDATE U INTO LYING DOWN.
