It consists of disconnecting from the mind and going into the body. This can be accomplished by focsing on the breath or feeling your internal energy.

I'm not sure. It seems like pulling from two sides at the same time. In order to focus i need to think but if I think I can't focus because the thoughts become too distracting.

For one thing, you don't need to think in order to focus. Also, you could think but not think too much and if you just notice you're thinking, you can bring it back.
