Default Is this Really Anxiety?

Over the past 7 months I have been suffering from my therapist calls "anxiety". She says she is 99% sure that it is anxiety. To outline my symptoms, I started with feelings of dissociation and not being aware back in november and december. This dissipeared and turned into slight depression/anxiety in january and february. From March on it is pretty much just a general feeling of anxiety and a constant head pressure (that tends to start out of the blue or when I think of something that would make me anxious). My therapist attributed my anxiety to the fact that I have not gotten a job yet and my lack of good relationships. However, now that I have a gotten a good job (1 month ago) and my social relationships are getting better, why do I stil have this anxiety? It isnt as bad but the head pressure is just annoying as hell. One thing to note - I NEVER get any anxiety feelings in the morning or after I clear my head with a nap etc. It always happens after Ive been awake for at least 20 - 30 mins (when I havnt thought about anything yet). Many you are probably thinking "well duh its anxiety look at the cause and effect relationship". I keep second guessing myself; That maybe I got the anxiety first without a trigger and am thinking of reasons to justify it. I say this because I have dealt really well with anxiety inthe past and this is not normal for me. Help! I feel like I have a brain tumor or some other physiolocial condition and this is causing it!

I had an MRI performed and everything came back fine. I guess thats puts me at peace of mind a little bit. I still get the anxiety though (its not an actual anxious feeling as so much as it is a constant head pressure and slight anxiety). I have a good job, good friends, am financially stable etc. I know a couple months ago the various stressors in my life could have caused the anxiety, but if those stressors are gone, why do I still have it? I am beginning to feel hopeless and a victim of this!
