Default 'Not a full deck'

Hello all,
being a sufferer of severe anxiety disorder/panic attacks; OCD; and a lifetime of depression, others who consider themselves 'normal' look upon me/us as though we're not playing with a full deck, a sandwich short of a picnic. Most people don't seem to realise that these are real illnesses. All my life, since I was a small child, I always felt ostracised by others, including family and peers. I felt that I was somehow 'different' and believed others could see it. So I isolated myself from everybody which only confirmed their opinions of me. It's a case of being between a rock and a hard place.

It just happens to be our normal.
We are like someone with diabetes, or High Blood Pressure, Alocholism, or even cancer.
Only thing is our disease, and YES it is a Disease, is recurring and we have to fight it daily.
It is just recently reconized as such by the medical community. Its just a matter of time before it is by everyone.

Yea basically that way in history, on a pirate ship if you had scurvy you were 'cursed' but really it was just malnourishment. I think it is getting more recognized but it could just be where I'm from.

Luckily my family is very supportive, but my ex-girlfriend thought I was "weird" and I should just "get over it".
