Default How do you reduce/remove stress?

Open to any thoughts/suggestions. More interested in changing the thinking behind it however, but also interested in short term reliefs I suppose.

Exercise works best. A hot bath relaxes muscles. Perhaps even listen to some relaxing music while in a hot bath. Sometimes it can be as simple as a big bowl of ice cream.

You could also try writing all those fears down that go on in your head - or whatever is stressing you out. The go through each one and assess the likelihood of it happening or what you would do, if it actually happened - reason your way through it.

I've actually been using food a lot. The main problem I have is that I have a lot of work (50-60 hrs) week so its hard to find time to do these things. ahh maybe can squeeze it in somewhere

that's a good idea, thanks. The problem I usually I have sometimes is identifying what I'm actually stressing about (sounds weird I suppose).

when im stressed or depressed.. i pick up a guitar or a pencil and i either write a song (on paper of course).. or draw a picture but i somehow let that stress flow from me to my art/music and then... i burn it

pretty much.. i just use the stress or depression to create art and i burn it in order to forget it.. and after a while of doing that it works for me
