Idk, he had a phone to call an ambulance, and I really doubt he can hurt anyone for a long time (the bone was sticking out)

Damn, you must of stamped on him hard to do that.
Have you done martial arts?
He must have been very tough too, to be able to hobble off with a bone sticking out.
I saw an ankle discolate once and the bone pop and the person did not stop screaming until they had morphine after the ambulance was called.
Did someone ring then when you were defending yourself against him?

I think you are incredibly brave and compassionate to do all that.
Especially after I have read your other threads and your fear of the outside at the moment.

Well done!
I would talk to your therapist about this, or your doctor.
You will have to realise that your capabilities are immense and you could really hurt someone next time you defend yourself.
Stay calm.
You are a hero.

Thanks monkeychild. No I don't/haven't taken martial arts, and I'm surprised I have any muscle at all since I never exercise. He must have been high on something because it looked like it hurt like hell. I know he had a cell phone because it fell out of his pocket when he fell, and he grabbed it before I helped him up.

I'm not a hero, I came home and cried about it. Thank you though. That cheered me up a bit, so I'm going to try to sleep now (3:12am).

Oh, you are a hero.
I probably would have taken his cell phone so the cops would have a lead to work on.
Did you fear for your own safety at anytime, or did your self defense's kick in immediately?
Do you think he will have learned his lesson?
Was he bigger than you?
I think this story is amazing and Iwant to know more if you don't mind.
I like real life heros.
I want to be one too.

Yeah he was bigger than me, about 6 feet (I'm 5'8"). I didn't really think, it was like my body took over. He definitely learned his lesson, or at least he sounded like it. He kept saying things like I'm sorry and I won't do it again, then again he may have been full of crap.
I wouldn't call myself a hero... I almost left him there, I don't think he could've gotten back up. I felt bad for the guy. And it fucked with my head, just triggered a lot of bad memories.

Memories?

How do you mean?

Has this happened before then?

I think I would have left him there and called the police, but you chose to let him go and give him a lesson.

Amazing.

Haha I almost feel like I'm bragging about it... I don't know if it would've messed with me that much if I wasn't already dealing with crap, but man, twisted flashbacks just keep getting worse and worse. Not from this, from the shooting.
