I've been doing ok for quite sometime now but one thing seems to reoccur with me and that is anxiety whilst driving. I'm particularly bad on motorways or freeways or whatever you want to call them.
My anxiety is largely under control in other areas of my life and I've had times where I've had incident free journeys on the motorway these past few years. At the moment I'm going through a particularly bad patch of having huge panic attacks behind the wheel and I was wondering if anyone had any useful tips on how to deal with them?

I sing(poorly and loudly) when I drive on the highways. And since I do that now, I don't clamp my hands on the wheel and feel horrible on the road. I just plug in my music and sing along. But I won't lie, I still haven't gone through the intersection where I was in an accident( again...not my fault). When I even get near that intersection, everything stops being a drive and turns into fear. So I avoid it.
it's worth a try, especially if you have a screwed up voice, cause you laugh at the parts you mess up :)
