Please do not ask for support in chat or PM
We encourage our members to post about their issues on the forum. The chat room and personal messages are not to be used to give/receive support.
Doing so puts a lot of pressure on the members involved, as well as giving the person in need of help less support than he/she can gain from posting on the forums. Please see the guidelines
J) No depression discussion in chat, private messages or in the forums designated as part of the "Lighter Side". Please use the appropriate forums for support. Chat, private messages, and forums designated as part of the "Lighter Side" are reserved for lighthearted talk among friends at TTL. Details
Most of our members are in sensitive states, and are not always up to giving support to other members. By asking for support in private, you might contribute to supportive members leaving TTL.
When posting on the forum about your issues, members who feel up to it can respond, and you can get more input about your issue than if you write to one person. Another advantage of posting about your issues on the forum, is that the TTL-team can intervene if a member violate the guidelines causing another member to get offended or hurt. In this way TTL can be a safe environment for all our members.
If a member asks you for support in chat or PM, please report the PM by clicking the report button
and/or create a thread in the Contact Moderators
forum. This forum is confidential and any threads you create there will be visible only to yourself and members of the TTL team. We are here to help, and we want all our members to feel safe and protected on TTL.
