Default Yoga

i love yoga. i've been going to hot room hatha yoga for a while now, and it's helping me. our instructors focus on opening the heart, leading with the heart, etc. hatha yoga's all about shifting the blood from one area of the body to the other, i.e. from right to left, top to bottom, etc. it's amazing what that sort of thing does. i think many of us tend to fall into relatively sedentary lifestyles, where we don't move our blood so much. stagnant blood isn't good for us. stagnant energy isn't either. yoga helps to get it all moving. every time i go i soak my clothing with sweat. the room is 105 degrees. the class is 1.5 hours long.
nothing like forcing yourself to hold a really uncomfortable pose for a few minutes to remind you of who you really are, what you're really made of.
yoga focuses on at least four major areas, including:
STRENGTH
ENDURANCE
BALANCE
FLEXIBILITY

.....before you toss in the towel of life, give it a try. give yourself a chance to see what you're capable of.
it's very likely that with some time, dedication and practice you'll be capable of a hell of a lot more than you THINK you're capable of.
give yourself a chance to get STRONG.
don't throw it away.

i could do an info-mercial for this stuff

I second this...

I've been doing Vinyasa yoga every week for the past 2 months and it's been really great. I feel a lot less lethargic, have a bit more energy, and come out of every class feeling refreshed and in a "zen" state.

I can't imagine what a few years of this stuff would do for me.
