i love yoga. i've been going to hot room hatha yoga for a while now, and it's helping me. our instructors focus on opening the heart, leading with the heart, etc. hatha yoga's all about shifting the blood from one area of the body to the other, i.e. from right to left, top to bottom, etc. it's amazing what that sort of thing does. i think many of us tend to fall into relatively sedentary lifestyles, where we don't move our blood so much. stagnant blood isn't good for us. stagnant energy isn't either. yoga helps to get it all moving. every time i go i soak my clothing with sweat. the room is 105 degrees. the class is 1.5 hours long.
