I usually listen to music or make it. sometimes i'll watch a movie or read a book. most of the time i just don't do anything though

Draw, read, write, play vidya games (especially roleplaying on MMORPGs; one of these days I'll find a D&D group in real life and physically roll the dice), and watch YouTube videos. I tend to like the serious ones more than the viral videos, but every once in a blue moon if I'm really REALLY down, I look up videos of laughing babies. I don't like babies IRL, but they have awesome laughs.

Sleep. If I'm really low I'm usually also tired, and if I go to sleep I can just remind myself I'll feel better when I wake up.

If it's not THAT bad, going outside, doing gardening, anything to get me out of the house... esp. if sun is shining. But... I have trouble forcing myself outside when I'm depressed.

Going for a vigorous walk helps, but again, hard to get myself out when I'm depressed.

Sometimes reading a good book can distract me. Or creating things.

I listen to really old music like jazz (coltrane, davis) or classical...it relaxes me and I don't know why. Definitely a far cry from Death, Carcass, or Edge of Sanity.

For me I sleep, lots, I hear to certain songs that make me feel a little better, or I watch one of my favorite movies, "Monty Phyton and the Holy Grial" after forcing myself to laugh a little and smile I feel better, and I cook.
Videogames do help me as well, and drawing~
