I let music wash over my mind with destructive riffs and heart warming melodies. Crashing sounds of drums beating back my fears.

destructive riffs and crashing drums bating back my fears. i love that. it is so expressive and perfectly why i listen to hard stuff. i just never saw it in your words before. thanks TT. you always got my back.

rueval...thank you for your understanding. acknowledgement of one's pain is truly one of the best ways to show you care even if you don't have a perfect solution for someone.

hottea....you are so sweet and so positive. i am also, when i am not trying to climb up a hole who's walls are covered in pig fat. i am sorry. i thought it was a done deal, but i just can't seem to get out of this one....

...and i appreciate all of you so much. i can make it today now.

You can make it, Abalone! Life is hard, for periods it can be a day-to-day struggle. With support, time, effort and patience it does grow better. You are doing better then you know, you just can't see it from your present place. You will be alright in the end!

A cup of hot tea... partly where the name came from.

My cat who is always waiting for me to come home and never complains makes me feel cared about, even if it is really just depended upon. Knowing that I can come home to him and he always loves me, I never wonder if he'll say kind things or make me feel like I'm really dumb. I don't have that luxury at work.

People who I can depend on to be there as time allows who will really listen and respond without malice. Even when we only share some commonalities, between all the people I share a little bit with I can often find a bit of support. Life seems to go in stages of having more or less people, so sometimes I don't have people but often I have at least a couple.

If I'm really down/depressed I call my therapist. No use messing around. I have had a lot of problems lately with my parents hitting there 80's and me being on disibility and how i might have to support myself if/when something happens to my parents. I also have sucide attempts in my past. Lets say more then one. I prefer not get so depressed that suicide pops in my head.

I like being around people and talking to them about me feelings. Just getting them out helps me or writing them down also helps me. To bad I don't have any friends, they all went there own way or got married.

Your therapist seems like quite a wise choice. I'm sorry your friends ditched you for life's other demands. Plenty of people I used to know have done likewise. It's not fun.

You are quite brave to manage through the challenges of your parents' infirmity and your own struggles.
