Default Mindfulness Therapy

Mindfulness is a type of meditation that focuses on staying in the present moment, and evidence is mounting that it can be an effective treatment for depression. Even ten minutes of mindfulness a day can help, so it's a low effort way to help yourself. Here is some more information on it:

I have also looked into mindfulness. I think it can be helpful in coping with any sort of ailment. I think it would be also useful for addiction and aggression. I have found an online course but it lasts over 8 weeks. It is also quite extensive. Being the perfectionist that I am I would probably get caught up in trying too hard or having unrealistic expectations.

Mindfulness has a lot in common with meditation. I have practiced transcendental meditation for many years. It's the same technique the Beatles learned when they visited India in the 60's. According to John Lennon the purpose of life is :"To be here now". To me, these are words of wisdom.
