Default Mediation and Revitalization (It's helped many including mysel and Millions of Monks)

Thank you for clicking on this post. Here I will answer all your questions about meditation (at least to some extent what I can answer - I know a lot from experience).

-------------

I habitually meditate for at least 2-4 hours a day. This process helps me break down certain things in my life, exactly things like:

-How things are going
-What I am doing wrong/Right
-How can I fix the wronged/Improve the right

I love meditation because about 3 days into it, I started "Feeling my Chi." What this is, is your inner energy. Some people refer to it as God flowing through you, others such as Buddhism-type refer to it as your "Chi" or Ki/Qi in other Religion/Parts of the world.

I also like to keep a Feng-Shui lifestyle in which I keep everything peaceful.

The way I started this is by cleaning the place I sleep and rest, the place I am the most as well. This makes it so that I am happy most of the day, or at least well-rested.

I feel you all will be the same.

As soon as you start feeling your "Chi," and meditate more often, you will be able to use your Chi to do multiple things. Chi helps you develop a good mindset, and it makes you calmer as it flows throughout your whole body.

Meditating alone gives you peace, and it's nothing to be ashamed of doing. 1 out of 3 people usually meditate, you just don't realize the person next to you does it because they are ashamed of it.

Try it sometime,
And ask me any questions you have!

It's almost otherworldy. I can run almost 2x as far now.. Whenever I get a cramp in my leg or somewhere or a spasm I direct my "Chi" or what you want to call it to that area and it goes away INSTANTLY.

I can heal my headaches instantly with my chi. I healed my little brother's gash and it stopped bleeding because I practiced healing with it. And EVERYONE can do it. It's a hidden gift within everyone. God gave it to us, whatever religion, your God(s) gave it to you.

Also, I have really bad Acid Reflux and it has gone away incredibly after i started meditating.. I can heal my chest pains while directing my chi to my heart and concentrating on slowing my heartbeat.

To note, once you start meditating you might feel like your heartbeat is erratic and it might not feel right.

After about a week of serious-ness - You will be able to control your heart! My heart pumps very slow and strong.. It's almost cool to hear it pump while I meditate.

I've tried meditating before and it didn't last long. My concentration is so bad. Let alone sitting with legs crossed on the floor is painful for me. I wish I could, I just don't know how to do it so it works for me.

First thing is first - It's suppose to be comfortable for the meditatee.

(Did that make sense.. meditatee? lol.)

Anyways, You don't have to sit cross-legged. As long as it's comfortable, you can sit against the wall on your bed, or lay down in your bed, or up on your couch, or lay on the floor.

Second, your hands hand to be completely calm and rested. It's like resting your jaw when you sleep. Your hands must not be twitching or moving around.

A good tip for keeping your hands rested is to set them somewhere on your legs, but on the opposite leg - Right hand on left calf, left hand on right calf, OR right hand on left thigh, left hand on right thigh..

Third and the MOST important----

Breathing technique.

In order to meditate properly, you must breathe like this:
Breathe normally for about a minute, then start this,
-Inhale for a count of 4, it can just be 1,2,3,4 and then
-Hold the inhale for a count of 2, can just be 1,2, and then
-Exhale for a count of 4, just 1,2,3,4
-Hold the exhale for a count of 2, can be 1,2,

This is what is known as the 4:2 breathing method

Don't underestimate the breathing method

FOURTH---

After you do the inhale, exhale set for about 15-20 times which will only last you about 5 minutes as long as you take your time (important).. this is about relaxing

AFter 5 minutes, you will start to, how do i say... your eyes will just "shift" and you will just become into the blackness behind your eyes. It's a very calm and relaxed feeling.. and you will want to do it again.

Remember, ask me any questions!

I've actually wanted to start doing this...but classes are too expensive where I live. Are there any online classes or something that I can do? I think it would be really good for me.

You said it yourself;

As for online classes, it would be impractical.

The only way for you to learn how to do it and explore how meditation works is to practice. Try it once and get the feel for it. The second time, expand upon what you did the first time!

Let me know how it goes

Hey TTR your responses are helpful, but because of my meds and condition it's impossible for my hands to be still (they twitch a lot at times) and to lay/sit still for longer than a period of 30 min. Are there any "short" meditation techniques out there? I do breathing techniques when I am mindful of my stress, is that kind of the same?
