Unhappy Heeelp!!

i have been suffering from a moderate to sereve depression for the last 7 months. i also have a bad anexity problem along with OCD(i tend to chew on my bottom lip without even knowing it) i have read all about L-tyrosine, 5-htp, SJW, SAMe, etc. I would just like to ask about everyone personal experiences and your thoughts on what i should try and the dosage too? Thanks for the time.

I have severe depression and I've tried all of the supplements you've listed. What helps best for me is complex carbs (cous cous, rice) and Omega 3 (fish) most days of the week. add light exercise (20-30 min brisk walk) 3 times a week and you'll feel a difference! If you really want to go the supplemental route, try a high concentration of B-6 and D vitamins. Good luck, sweets!

thanks changling, i may try this if some of these other dont work.. and by high concentration of B-6 and D vitamins, how much do u mean? just wondering lol

Trrrex I can't comment on your dosages or what you should use because I am not dealing with your specific set of issues. I will say that I take 5-HTP for sleeping better, though, as I find melatonin does not work as I need it to. I get better quality sleep in general with the 5-HTP. Have you consulted a Naturopath Doctor to see if that specialist can give you a dosage recommendation? That is my best advice to offer on how to decide what dosages of which thing to take.
