Thumbs up Diet for depression

Hi I have just changed my diet to make
Myself feel better. Cut right down on high
Sugar products no take away or very rarely
And eat raw foods whole wheat product
And goji berries. I just wanted to know if anyone
Has tryed this or if it worked. I notice that
By eating high fat sugar products like McDonalds
Is very bad as it puts u on a sugar high then
U come crashing down and feel awful.
Have alook at what your eating I feel much
Better 4 it.
Please let me know your thoughts

Actually, I have heard this does make you feel great. I would be telling the truth when I tell you that I have done this before, and by saying that it does incredible shit for your mood. I mean, I am bi-polar so I have that moody shit going on, but it's incredible how much more stable you are, when you just simply eat right! And, if you eat right, you can lose weight :).

ive tried to cut out caffeine/suger before, but i felt awful i think im adicted to fizzy drinks like coke = which isnt ment to help with deression as far as ive heard..good luck with what your doing though..xox

Yes, HollowInside, you are correct that reducing simple sugars and saturated fat is helpful. Also, increasing whole grains gives you fiber to help regulate blood sugar levels and provides many vitamins and minerals too. And eating fruits and veggies like goji berries gives you plenty of antioxidants which helps too.

I'd recommend eating a few servings of fish each week as well, or taking fish oil supplements.

Diet websites and all your advice and personal stories about
The issue. Talking about fizzy drinks and stuff I drink cordial
Alot as the water is not the best quality were I live so it takes
Out the yucky taste so I need to find and alternative for that
Also has anyone made their own goji juice?
