well...im in a halfway house...its not all that of a hospital setting...but i no that you still have staff and all that other stuff...its not as bad as a hospital either...much better...you have so much more freedom here...and....you get to do pretty much whatever you want...and the staff are trained in certain situations...but thats my opinion

Thanks for the info lyndsey. So how do you get into a halfway house? Sorry, I am a little naive about that. I just think of a half way house as a place you go after prison.

I think there are different kinds of halfway houses, brgndy. Maybe if your therapist recomends it than insurance would cover it.

Ok. Thanks fr the info. I was thinking something also along the lines of maybe day treatment and alternative to Western medicine. I had a traumatic experience having to do with being hospitalized when I was a teenager so trying to avoid that.

half way house was the best thing for me. not sure what your circumatances are but for me it was to de-stress and work on other techniques to calm my nerves since the meds can't do it all. at least the one that i'm at isn't like a hospital at all but a bad B&B - mean that in a good way. insurance will allow (all co's vary) for me to stay for two weeks and am able to go to work and go back.

best of luck to you...
