Should I tell my therapist about my violent thoughts?

I think like this all the time, back in the past i even said a couple of things aloud and really freaked a few people out.

Theres no chance on me acting on them, just like theres no chance on me acting on suicidal thoughts. But sometimes its drives me mad because i can't not think about horrible things.

I was driven mad a long time ago so no more risk there, I guess. The thoughts used to disturb me but not anymore.

Ask you therapist what the rules are on confidentiality in your neck of the woods. I believe some therapists are not only able to turn you in, but obliged to if you are a perceived threat. There are ways around it though, because you really do need to talk to them about this. You can always say that yes, you have these thoughts, but that you will never act on them.

Yeah i guess i'm slowly getting desensitised to the sort of things i think up, to the point i'm no longer surprised anymore.
