I am so sorry to hear that.Well, did you try getting him to anger managment sessions? I understand that you are suffering coz of him, its his problem, not yours. Dont let him drag you down, instead try helping him and yourself. And please dont self-harm, there are much more healthier ways to channel built up frustration like singing, running, punching doll, pretty much anything that involves adrenalin rush. :)

He's an adult. What do you have against kicking him out of your house, changing the locks one day, or even filing a restraining order? Can't advise you to do that, just wondering if you've considered it.

I'd tell him that if he doesn't make a change he can't live there.

Oh yes iv thought about it! the good thing is he has a college course that he has to move out to attend this is in september, after years of his temper, will be such a relief when he does move out, people say i will miss him when he is gone...
The thing is, when he is not exploding he is ok, but its not worth all the hurt, so i will be celebrating when he moves out, such a shame i cant drink due to all my medication!
Thanks to all that replied, it does make a difference
