Default Beating myself up

Miserable, miserable day.

So, I made this huge sale yesterday. Good right? Except I miscalculated the shipping charges. This drives up the cost about $300 dollars.

I made a small sale last week. The profit margin is significant, I tacked on an estimated shipping charge. Now I find out the shipping price is upped $30.

I have to call both customers and tell them I'm upping the price. I'm beating myself up, I feel incredibly stupid and I want to hand in my two weeks notice. I hate myself.

There's no reason to beat yourself up. It's just work and it's not THAT important, is it? In the big scheme of things!

I've messed up a lot at work, but ya know.. Once you get past it.. It's okay. We all make mistakes.

At least you get to do it over the phone, i`ve worked in removals for years, and when one of the younger lads brakes something you have to go back into the house and tell the customer that oil painting of their grandma now has a standard lamp through the centre of it, and if its the beginning of the day your with the customer for another 8 hours. Mistakes happen at work, even if you gave in your notice you would still have to sort the mistakes you made.

Chalk it down to experience and like the others have said, everyone but EVERYONE makes mistakes sometimes.

"People can learn a thousand lessons by a simple mistake, but only one lesson through success"

Take it easy buddy, mistakes happen by accident...
