it says i have 2 days left on it, then i need to enter a cerial number to register it.

but when i originally got it, it never came with a cerial number... does anyone know what to do?

I don't know how one originally gets that software . . . if you bought it online there should be a serial number in an email or electronic copy of a user's guide. If you bought it in a store the serial number would have been on one of the bits of paper that was in the package . . . if it was freeware, you shouldn't need a serial number. If you pirated it, you'll need to look up either a patch (some bit of code that prevents the software from needing a number) or a keygen (software that will randomly generate a serial number).

can anyone tell me how to set another programme to do my downloading?

someone who said to me he'd help me find a code for internet download manager never did, and now that's run out- i can't download

how can i set it to be managed by another programme with out removing internet download manager?

i've bit commet- i'll use that. just figuring out how to set a new default
