Default Anyone else do this??

Ever since I can remember I've daydreamed-on purpose too. Not normal daydreaming either- I purposely make up my own little worlds my own little characters and create stories with them animate dinside my head. Like I have a TV in my head that I control. Sometimes they're be imaginary sometimes id draw the characters so i wouldnt "forget" wont they look like.
It's weird and I use t do it when i was little instead of playing football or tag. (never been a good runner or good at sports)
I get "spacey" like this sometimes I even daydream when I'm doing daily activities like in college once I'd daydream as I was walking back to my dorm-or in class . I always have these long drawn out stories that continue on mostly about some family, mostly women and their kids. I tend to leave out the dad and I know why i do but toher times i don't.
well, yes lol so while i sit around all day at the computer wasteing my summer I have stories going on in my head. I knwo what some fo you may be thinking "why not write them down?" i like to write but sometimes the stories are in my head and never get on paper-something I'm too good at is procrastinating. Sometimes the daydream stories are of stories I'm working on or planning to write. I daydream up ideas ect..

Ok well now that i've said that lol anyone do this? Or am I truely a weirdo?

I do stuff like this, how often i do it is usually an indicator of my general mood - the more it happens, the more i think i'm trying to retreat from being 'me' and dealing with my boring life. Sometimes it's just a little story revolving around one situation, other times its like a whole other life going on inside my head.

I love day-dreaming and imagining scenarios, watching them unfold in front of me and fantasising about what could never be. I rarely dream at night but if I do it tends to be a more sinister dream rather than pleasant. I do not write any down though, I think because my day-dreams are special to me. I interpret them as what I would like in my life: happiness, a sense of understanding, freedom. They're usually about me in the middle of nowhere, or helping someone.

You should write down your daydreams...maybe make a thread of them. I bet they're really good.

You're not weird, that's what every author in the world does. And if you're weird, then so are they!

You should write your daydreams down, if only for your own benefit. You find time to make drawings, so why not make time to write? And hey, you find lots of time to write things here

I say you should set aside some time to sit at the computer and type out one of your stories. And then another, and another. Then you should go back to the first one and expand on it, improve it.

Daydreaming like this has worked for JK Rowling, it's worked for Stephen King, it's worked for countless others. And who's to say you're not as good as they are?
