It just seems like I need to talk to, hopefully sane, people to keep the crazy thoughts and impulses at bay. When I'm alone they just won't stay away. My medication helps a bit but not enough, I don't think. Maybe I need to increase my risperdal dosage.

yeah i've been like that, been alone in my house for so long i feel like my mind is snapping.

Today

I live alone, and dont go out a huge amount, and yeah somedays it leaves me climbing the walls and wanting someone just to come over even if its only for 10 mins.

But least I have you guys :)

2 months ago i would have said yes. but recently there's nothing i want to do more than just sit on my own with my guitar. today i went through steve vai's 10 hour guitar workout in 2 sittings. so that gives an example of how much time i have on my hands

Yeah I always feel I am going mad if I'm left alone. I think its where I was left alone a lot growing up, while everyone else was doing stuff with their lifes. I just sat at home by myself. If I do that to much these days, I get panic attacks about fear of going insane.

Yes, most definitely.

Distraction is a good coping tool for me and even if I am putting on a brave face for an hour with friends it does lift my mood somewhat. I think being alone with thoughts that are so crazy is terrifying and sometimes it's hard to make it stop - so distraction is the key for me.
