Nope, the only time the noise goes away is when I press on the brakes. What's a cv joint? Is that easy to get to?

the cv joint is on the has to do with steering and the axle sounds like some thing could be rubbing on some thing is it real loud i don't think it is the breaks so you should be OK maybe a break pad is rubbing or some thing that would explain why it stops when you hit the breaks

Alright, I've not done a damn thing about the brakes yet. BUT....the noise has gone away. Maybe it was just because of the cold temps? I don't know...

I have a new problem now. Yesterday my car started shaking, like the engine or some part in the engine was shaking. It did stop but it was quite scary. I thought it was gonna blow up. I have to go out today too and I'm afraid, but I have to. Any idea what this could have been?

If I'm going to explode into a million pieces, I'd prefer if it wasn't today.

Yeah... I don't like the sound of that. That is the sorta stuff my bus was doing right before the axle joint broke and the axle came out and... yeah.. not good.
Something is definitely outta line, while I don't think you will blow up you are probably doing some massive damage to the tranny driving it in that condition. Then again I don't know much about cars but still...

Oh no Zets are you serious!! Ohhhhh I don't think it's wise of me to give it a go then.

But, I have to pick Bobby up from his pop-pop's and his phone isn't working right now so I can't call him to ask him to bring him home instead!

I truly don't want to risk it, especially since it's Sunday, most garages are closed.
