Default Keep Being a Loner?

I'm wondering if I should continue being a loner or if I should be more outgoing and a people person? I'm able to do either one.

Why are you thinking of not being a loner anymore? What do you see as the benefits to being a people person?

Ultimately it's up to you but I would say that being a loner is more personally self-fulfilling and less exhausting than being outgoing

Yes, being a loner is much easier than being a people person.

Why do you say that?

Because you're not as worried about pleasing others and can focus on yourself and things you like to do. I know if I spend too much time with people I start to lose a sense of who I am. This happened at the beginning of college. It was my first time making friends really in my life, I never had a friend group all throughout primary schooling. The more I hung out with people and met new people the less I felt like myself. I think it's one of the things that led me to depression.

Do you think being a loner is boring?

Yeah, just like anything else it can get boring at times. But as a whole, not really.

Do you think being social would make me more interesting?

I mean I can't really say because I don't know you! but in my experience, like I said before, being social made me feel less of who I was. Maybe that was just because being a loner was all I knew, idk. If you feel more like yourself when you can express it to others socially then it could! I guess there are benefits and drawbacks to both being a loner and being social.
