A friend advised me that I'm too young to be a loner. She said I'm missing out on fun. So I'll be alone sometimes and sometimes socialize, though only with like-minded people (free spirits, hippies, LGBT, liberals, feminists...).

What do you think?

1) 'Cause i barely try to go out with somebody, and i didn't have a girlfriend yet (lol, in my age of 24) 2) I don't know if they do see me as a loner, 'cause i was a few years back an extrovert. But probably yes, they do see me as a loner, 'cause i don't have any friends anymore. 3) When i am at home, i listen to my favorite music, drink beer or play videogames. 4) No, at all. Locking yourself up in your own head isn't good for anyone.

Since when is there an age limit where somebody can decide what too be? You can be a freak at 12 and a lone at 34 and a hopeless nut case at 54 (me by the way)? Why don't people just stop judging and criticicing. What fun is there to miss out. None. So, there you are.

Not criticizing you but why don't you think there's fun to miss out on?

I can't see any fun in life anymore.

I'm sorry you can't see fun in life anymore. I guess I'm fortunate that I can. So what would do if you were *me*?

I'm so open-minded that I don't know what I want half the time. That's why I turn to my friends for advice.

But at this stage in life, I don't really even have a choice but to be a loner. I'm alone all day. I can only socialize rarely.

How can I use being a loner to my advantage?

By being happier doing what you're doing than if you were doing something else
