I'll look into all of it, I need some new music.

Are you a fan of Pearl Jam? They go hand in hand with Nirvana.

no, i don't dig pearl jam...

i just don't like post-nirvana music.
for the most part.

i don't really even like the whole "grunge" movement.
people just didn't get it.

I would like people's opinions on this. If i see something wrong, say a picture isnt straight, i have to correct it, have to, i just cant leave it wrong. Even in other people's houses i will do it, i just cant stand to see something not right-even to the point of removing my mother in law's kitchen cupboards because they werent hanging straight. I dont feel like i have OCD but what do you guys think?

I can feel that. I for one loved Nirvana for a long time before I could enjoy pearl jam at all.

what do you mean with the grunge movement?

the bonk surplus of grotty kids in flannel, converse, and fucked up jeans, migrating to seattle for a record deal.

good job making kurt shoot himself kids.

it's makes me mad.... i'll never meet my idol.
but... no time for negative thoughts,
so i'd prefer to stay away from the negative aspects of kurt.
and all the idiot kids who thought they were just as amazing as him.

i can see where you're coming from. the grunge scene definitely spawned a whole pop-bullshit monster, but it started off with the right intentions i think. once the record companies swarmed in and made it a business it was bound to get fucked around.

If I mess something up on one side, I'll mess up the other side so it's all the same. LOL

Other things include me constantly straightening up at work. I'm messier at home, but I must keep things in order at work. I probably use hand sanitizer too much, even though I'm not really worried about germs. When I have a problem, I think about it nonstop. I really do obsess over every little thing.

Anyone else want to share?
people who know me thinks i'm the cleanest person alive. go figure.

- i do have the tendency to check and double check if the door at our house (the same door that i just went through when i went in - or out- ) is locked.

- i check & double check if i left any tools laying around the garage after i used them.

- i do have a certain pattern installing thrash bags in the thrash can (this drives my wife nuts).

i dont know whether this is OCD or not but some of the things i do are:

- Eat the toppings on pizza individually before i can eat the base so if i get a ham and cheese pizza i have to eat the ham then the cheese then the sauce then the base.
- i always have to smell cups before i use them just to check if they are clean.
- i count the steps in between cracks on a walkway then count the next steps to see if they match up and if they dont i have to start again and take bigger or smaller steps to match it.
- whenever i write something down it has to be neat otherwise i rip it out and start writing again, this one especially annoys me.
- when i eat pies i have to tear the top off then eat the meat inside then eat the base, then the lid.
- when i eat sausage rolls i tear the pastry off the top, eat that, then i eat the filling, then i eat the base.
- whenever i'm online, i refresh the pages constantly and check what the replies are to things i've posted on here, or facebook or anything where people can reply.

theres probably more, but eh, i dont know at the moment.

well, I haven't been diagnosed with OCD, but I do have weird 'OCD habits'
Whenever I drive, I HAVE to click my teeth together everytime I pass a vehicle or driveway, and I count all the dotted lines in the middle of the road, trying to make them match the music in the car. As you can imagine, road trips get frustrating.
All my books, dvds, and cds are organized alphabetically and by size/type, and the discs always have to face the right way in the cases.
I always have to rewrite all my lecture notes, even if the first copy is perfect.
When I'm walking, I have to take the same amount of paces in between cracks in the sidewalk or tiles, even if it means tip toeing in some places and jumping ahead in others. If there's no cracks, I count my steps.
I have six different piggy banks, one each for nickles, pennies, dimes, quarters, loonies, and toonies. I can't mix different coins together.
Before I go to bed, I have to make sure my room is spotless. All my socks have to be pointing in the same direction in the drawer, and all the pencils in my pencil holder have to be lead-side-up and seperated from the pens.
It seems weird even to me, but everytime I listen to a song, I have to 'type' the lyrics in my head. Like, I have an imaginary keyboard inside my head and I spell out all the words in the lyrics as I listen to them, which is frustrating because songs always go faster than I can 'type'. I'm not sure if that's OCD, or just plain messed up :/
And all the music in my iTunes HAS to have ALL the information and artwork, but maybe that's just me being picky!

yeah, i have 2 check the door, the stove (until it feels right), my daughter, that the sinks/toilets aren't dripping, and the lights (and double, triple, quadruple, etc. until that feels OK, too). and anything else that pops in my head as i try to get to sleep, like if my keys are away, did i really put my purse away so DD can't get it, ya, ya, ya. ...grrr... and the more i need to go to sleep or the more i need to leave the house the more frazzled i get and the more things i need to check, as if my pent-up nerves did a "carrie" and moved things around just by mental powers. . .LOL, and Grrr.. too. ..
That's me too. I know I have un plugged everything but then I get in bed and have to go downstairs and check again otherwise I would lie there stressing. I need to check my bank card is in my bag before I sleep too.
