I love this. It is quite literally a cup cake. And yet, not a cupcake at all.

Ingredients;
2 Tblsp self raising flour
2 Tblsp sweetener (I advise against using sugar)
1 Tblsp cocoa powder
A splash of vanilla essence
Water or milk (I used rice milk once, and it was good,
but unnecessary as it tastes great just with water)
Optionally you can add cinnamon/nutmeg, fruit (I added
banana and it was awesome), chopped nuts, sugarfree
marshmallows or chocolate chips, etc.

Get this; all you do is mix the dry ingredients together in a
microwave-safe mug, add the water and vanilla, stir until
it's a cake batter consistency and you're sure any clumps
of powder have been stirred out, then microwave the mug
for two minutes (maybe more depending on the power of
your microwave). That's all you do. And you have just made
A FREAKING CAKE IN A FREAKING CUP. This version
doesn't transfer well due to lack of oil, so it's best to enjoy
it straight from the cup with a spoon.

In my experience, it turns out a little bit rubbery, but hell,
for something I microwave in a mug for two minutes I'm not
exactly expecting something straight out of Gordon Ramsay's
kitchen. And although the texture isn't perfect, the taste
is exactly like a chocolate cake you'd bake in an oven for
thirty minutes.

So, whether you're health conscious, lazy, or you just like
adorable food in cups, I advise you to give cake-in-a-cup a try!

Contains 130 calories, 3.9g protein, 28g carbs and only 1g fat when made with
2T SR flour, 2T no-cal sweetener, 1T cocoa powder, a bit of vanilla, and water.

I know, for 130 cal it is amazing, and I feel surprisingly full after eating it too! You're welcome, I'm glad to share good recipes when I find them especially when they're low cal

I must try this.. for sure. I dont really eat cake... but if I want something sweet.. Id rather eat this than something with more calories. If you find more recipes, please post them ..

Default Its a real cake !

Look...

and very tasty.... AND its a large serving too. The pictures aren't so good, but honestly when its ready, it looks like a real cake.
Just be careful to hold the cup with something, cause I didn't.. and it was HOT. I hardly use the microwave. Nice excuse yes?

Woohoo, nice pictures Joanna! Thanks for posting those!

Lol I burned my fingers a few times while making it too, it's easy to underestimate how hot mugs can get hahaha....

Taking pictures is a good idea, I'll try to remember to take my own next time I make this :D

Argh, I don't know why the last one is so big, I resized it on Photobucket but it keeps showing up really big like that.
Anyway, I made this earlier tonight mainly just so I could take pictures of it! The chunks are pieces of chopped banana!
