To dream of snakes has many meanings. But in your case:
1.) When you see snakes, it should indicate that you have fears that worry you.
2.) If you are afraid of the snakes in your dream this shows that you aren't ready for close proximity to engage in sex (I highly doubt that as you said that you had this dream as a boy), intimacy or commitment.
3.) The snakes can also represent a person who in your life isn't so nice and otherwise cannot be trusted.

To be floating mean:
1.) You are rising above obstacles that you are learning to overcome :)

If I knew the type of snake in your dream then my interpretation could be more clear to you.

On a side note snakes symbolize wisdom, healing, and transformation.

Remember the phrase "busy as a bumble bee":
1.) Bees symbolize many things such as peacefulness, creativity, happiness, wealth and good luck!
2.) Picture how bees work, they are hard working and busy. This can mean that there are a lot of this going on in you life, preferably positive.
3.) If in your life you are hard working it will soon pay off with great results :)

Dreaming about insects mean:
1.) Obstacles you will soon face and have to deal with, try your best to over come them. Perhaps something is "bugging" you.
2.) In popular belief, insects are know to be symbolized as your personal awareness and sensitivity.
3.) In many cases insects are seen as divine messengers (remember in Ancient Egypt and how the dung beetle was very popular back then!)

Whatever your dealing with, out of the dream world, take precaution and steady yourself. When making decisions meditate on what is the most important. Don't forget to face your problems because remember, hard work pays off for the busy bee :)

I have dreams about bees and wasps quite often too.

I've been having really vivid dreams for the past week, which is weird for me as I never normally remember my dreams. They are quite creepy though.

I've never had what i consider a nightmare or bad dream. Even those dreams about getting chased or killed, I just lump them in with the regular dreams I suppose. Just how I've always been.

Yeah, me too. I get hallucinations when taking a small dose of diazepam before sleep, too, upon waking. Which is why I feel better off medication and drinking a little instead, especially at night.

Nah, I only have dreams about flowers and kitties and cute furry animals, and ponies. harharharhar

Of course, that's a load of S*** but I'm being funny in between rounds of uncomfortable cramps so I figure its worth the sarcastic humor.
