SIZING - I can relate to things within your posting. Hope you don't mind me posting my reply.
No, we are unable to get back time, but what we can do, is make the best of the time we have now and make something out of it.
We are unable to "retrieve" our youth back. What we're able to do is take care of our bodies and ourselves. Eating healthy, exercising, keeping our minds busy with productive and motivating things that make us feel better and stay younger.
We can attempt to make our lives, now, a certain way we'd like. No, it doesn't always go the way(s) we'd like it to, but making the best of it is all one can/is able to do.
There's always another time, chance, or opportunity. Maybe not as soon as we'd like it to be, but it'll come; again.
It's difficult (even I can admit) to accept certain things. Try to start seeing and thinking of a better future
. Remember, one person
can make a difference. Start thinking of how to change it for the better. Write things down, like goals you want to achieve. Then, start working on them; daily.
It's wonderful that you're not going to do that.
Just know that we are here for support, advice, and we deeply care.
