More a song than poem, but hey
I have been working
Towards a solution
For everything and nothing too
I have been singing
For a redemption
For a place and something true.
I have been shouting
For forgiveness
From something I have not done,
I have been praying
For a quick ending
And somewhere that I can run.
For singing this song,
and shouting these verses,
I pray that I can find peace,
For showing my heart
my soul and my secrets.
I hope to find a sweet release.
I have been hoping,
That I am my saviour,
And peace is something within,
I have been looking
A life I can live in,
And something to hide all my sin,
Now I am hoping,
For something better,
More than what I've been given,
Now I am looking,
For a new start,
To make this sad life worth living.
For singing this song,
and shouting these verses,
I pray that I can find peace,
For showing my heart
my soul and my secrets.
I hope to find a sweet release.
