Default Book Theme

Can anybody suggest some good books with brave characters or that have bravery as a main theme? Either fiction or non-fiction is fine.

It's a trait that I would like develop a little more. Thanks.

I'm not sure exactly how you mean that...you might be looking for a story of someone charging head first into a machine gun nest...or of just a normal person coping with life.

A couple books that come too mind are Roots by Alex Haley and The Grapes Of Wrath by Hemingway.
