get out of the way!!!
Yes,..here goes,..my rant,...when one is driving,..and from behind you comes an emergency vehicle,..with all it's lights flashing,..and sirens going,.......one is expected to "Get out of the way" safely...There is a reason why their lights and sirens are going....Do not try to outrace an Emergency vehicle...it's not funny, and can cause a horrific accident.
Just tonight while driving home,..two lane side street,..all of a sudden,..there are lights flashing,..sirens going off,..behind me,...most of the drivers behind me pulled over....there were cars coming the other way as well,....they stopped,..to make sure that this Emergency vehicle could get through....so,..now I am pulled over,...cars going in the other direction are pulled over,..with room for the Emergency vehicle to get through,..good,..right? Nope,..the car behind me,.decides for whatever reason,..now is the perfect time to go around me,.and continue on,..even though EVERYONE else had stopped..he actually cut off the Emergency vehicle,...and slowly made his way down the street,.......nice.....yes,...I know someone might say,.well maybe he was listening to music,..couldn't hear the siren,..well ok,.how about the emergency lights,....How about,..noticing that eveyone else was stopped,..how oblivious can one person be!!!!!! Get Out of the Way!!!!!!

I cant stand when peopel do that it pisses me off. The lights and sirens are on for a reason usualy to go save somebody but do peopel pull over? No of course not they get infront of the ambulance and drive like nothign is goig on around them.
I think peopel liek that shoudlnt be allowed to drive.

Yes,..they should not be driving!!
It really pisses me off,..big time....If it was one of their loved ones,.that had the emergency,...wonder how fast they would get out of the way?

Yeah exactly. I seriously hate it when I see it. We get out of the way rigth away but here are these stupid poeple who just drive like everythign is fine. Everythgin isnt fine somebody coudl be really hurt and the emergancy vehicle has its light on for a reason. Its just wrong what some people do.

Hey Jupes, man I've seen that so many times in Alaska. They are feckin idiots while they drive up there! They either don't know the laws or don't care and they endanger everyone around them!
At least this time, everyone was safe.

From somebody that drove an ambulance for 8 years -- Thanks Jupiter for saying what needed to be said!!
People do have their way of being in their own little world, ignorant to what is going on around them.
Here in Michigan, you can get a ticket for such a thing.

Hey CBL,
I drove an ambulance for almost 10 years! and I am still a certified Emergency Medical Technician,..Did you have to take the EVOC course as well? It's an experience driving an ambulance,..isn't it?
